My TA51 has started blowing a bit of oil through the exhaust side(no oil in up pipe) and I was thinking about trying a stock turbo with my 3k stall - I hear it can be a fun combo. Anyway, I heard a while back that my old 49 didn't really push noticably more air until it was past 20 psi. Is it the same way with the 51? I know that they spool at different rpms, but is there really going to be much of a power loss at 15 psi or less? Also, never having been in a GN with a stock turbo, will I lose that punch I get from my 51 when it spools? Will the stocker be as loud as the 51, or is it signifigantly quiter?

Your stock turbo will kick your 51's ass....throw it on and have some fun!!!! And no, you wont loose no punch, unless your pushing more than 20lbs......
