bad shifting

I got an 84 GN just got the tranny redone and the shift points are different from stock.I got it built by a tranny shop for 1300.00 and i dont think its right when i floor it it only goes up to 3500 rpm and then shifts.
Also when I power stall it go through all the gears inclueding overdrive.
I'm a new GN owener and I love the car but not the way it shift any suggestions would help me.

go back and tell them that you are not happy and give them a chance to show you what kind of business men and human beings they are .if a tv cable adjust doesnt help,suspect a stuck tv limit valve or the wrong vbody and governor was reinstalled on the car.

Anyone for crushed nuts on their sundaes? LMAO. Good advice Chris. But always give them one chance to make things right.
Then you are assured you did all you could. Check the Home Depot ad from this last Sunday. I think they ahd a large vice on sale.
