Bad stumbling below 25% throttle.....

put the ignition module on, and I immediately get a code 42, and the car is missing all over the place. The module I got was from a friend, its a wells brand, and it may be bad, or is it even possible to hook it up wrong? I'm sure i got it on there right.

Does the car happen to have a Translator plus on it?

My car runs like crap (bucks and sputters) when FP is 45 line off. It runs much better at 48-50. Someone suggested that he put his FP at 38 line off. I think that would have added to the problem (at least in my case). I have an extender chip and translator. A dead spot on the TPS sensor can also cause the sputter upon acceleration.

Im sure your EGR is disabled by your TTchip so scratch that. Check the bracket the Coilpack/module sit on. The module bracket is what grounds it so make sure its tight. check gap on plugs..my car had a similar problem.. The cam sensor was reversed my the previous owner..
