Bad wastegate Y connectors

Just out of curiosity, when the bad wastegate Y connectors were made, what was the problem? I have read that the oriface size was drilled wrong. Was it too big or too small?

They were too small I belive.

Should be about .050". Plus or minus .002" on the tolerance.

I agree...too small. Supposed to be .050+/- or .052+/-.....according to what I've read on this site. I thought I read the bad ones were about .036".

Search for orifice, wastegate, etc and you'll find a lot of info.
