Yes I have. Right after the first burnout on that engine.

I tigged them at the joint.

Get the banjo fittings . I had the water line kit welds are real soft they are sitting in a bag on my work bench. I didn't want to risk it after the lines came loose , I bought 2 fittings and some good rubber hose and now i have a peace of mind..
