band pass box ported through rear deck?

Anyone built something like that? I am going to put some q forms in front and a small sub in back. The roll bar goes throught the 6X9 cutouts so I was thinking maybe a single 10 or 12 in a bandpass box with the port extending through the rear deck. Any thoughts?

Should work great. Depending on sub could be VERY loud too.

I did not do a band pass, just a ported enclosure. Worked pretty well.

I know this thread is old, but I've done that on a buddies old fox body coupe. ports telescoped outside the box and up through the back deck and sealed off. It was a monster. Sounded really good as opposed to firing the subs into the back side of the seat.
