Barnominium

I would like to build an insulated barnominium someday, 1200 square foot living with 1200 square foot garage. 40*60ft.

Anyone have ecperience or advice good or bad with one if these?

I've considered it more than once but the smells and fumes would be too much for my wife. So I have a detached garage around back.
That Vegas show where the guy parked his tbird in side his house was pretty cool to me when I was a kid.
I have lived in a storage unit for a bit. Showering was the only hassle so I did that at work. Had a bathroom so the other tasks worked out. Hot in the summer, cold inthe winter. I would buy a travel trailer and park it in there next time.

Part of me wants a BIG garage/shop. The other part wants to actually retire and not create more work. lol

guy down the road from me is building a two story 5000 sq ft garage/workshop with room for class a motor home inside , ill get some pics next time i go by.

I'm thinking of doing the same on my lot. I have a 100x50 lot and want to a 60 x 50 to keep all my toys in there including my 40ft. Speed boat
