Guys...I have read the above sticky's about the 2004R.
What I need to know is in basic plain language here is what rebuild parts do I buy for a basic street car (no track action seen) tranny rebuild?
Can I take it to my local shop - I mean i've heard these tranny's are quite different and can get screwed up by any old shop right ????
I'm not looking to put a second mortgage into the thing - I just wanna reliable tranny 'cause this one is original and has 200 plus Kms on it.
It doesn't shift real well and I believe its due for a freshening up and maybe even a shift kit.
Suggestions for parts needed and shift kit I should buy ?
