Well.... It's been a long few weeks, but after the investigation by the insurance company, I got the call just minutes ago... They're sending me a check to cover the repairs, minus my deductible!!

Hopefully I'll be back on the road soon!! Pics to follow!!

Sorry to hear, hopefully you will get a fair check ( it will never really be fair considering the time missed out on riding it and the hassle ) and you can enjoy it again.

The worse part is he can pull a Hennessey and be doing this again 5 years from now.

Got the scoot back yesterday...

Finally got my bike back. It's been over 16-months since this ordeal had started. I still need to detail the bike to my expectations, add some odds-n-ends, but I'm done with the powertrain... for now... :D Don't pay any attention to the initials on the cyl. heads... ;)

Congrats. What is the outcome of the shop who ripped you off?

The owner of the shop is in jail for some major reasons unrelated to the shop. The county sheriff's dept. advised everyone involved to go the civil suete (sp?) route instead of pressing criminal charges. I'm not sure what everyone else is doing/done, but I was able to use my insurance agency. They're going after him for their reimbursement, along with my deductable.

He was due in court on April 30th, but I don't know the outcome of that yet.
