Bent chip prongs...

Yeah, I bent my chip, and one of the prongs came off. When the car
goes to ignition, the check engine light flickers,and the scanmaster
doesnt even come on(as opposed to my other chip that has the check
engine light on,and scanmaster working). The car starts, but runs
shatty.

Do I try to bend them all back into place perfectly?I tried to get
them as close as possible to normal, but without the one prong will
everything be ok?

Im emailing erik(its a turbotweak chip) about this.

Should I either get a new turbotweak chip, or the extender chip? (I
have a a LS1 maf and T+)

I just got codes 23, 51, 45, and 32.

The EGR is broken I think, the MAT isnt connected, and the FP is prolly way off.
The chip that is in it is the good chip.

What is PROM error?

EDIT: I just cleared the code 51

usually just reseating the chip will help if your seeing 51 unless the prom socket is getting to the point where the tinning is wearing off the prongs at which point not much you can do except maybe get a zif installed, but that only takes place after a whole bunch of chip swaps maybe something on the order of 3-500.

If you mean one of the metal pins, then it's DOA.

If you mean one of the plastic ears of the holder, then it'll probably be an intermittent contact.

I got in contact with Erik, said he will fix it for me.

Talk about customer service. :D :cool:
