Thats awesome! How fast is the car?
I think alot of us have been in the 1.6s. My best was 1.62 with little Nitto 245/50-16s on a stock car (11.80s) I let my buddy borrow them and he went 1.59 (11.30s) with them. Both cars running stock D5 convertors.

the car ran 7.04 @ 99 on that pass but understand that the track was in excellent shape.
(I put 5 gallons of VHT on it that day) 
. If a car can hook on radial tires it will be faster thru the 1/4 mile due to no bias ply. if the track can stand it, gonna try for a 10 sec pass

It ran a 12.03 on that pass. My stage 2 powered car has been a best of 1.76 footbraked on 275/60's, car ran a 10.84 on that pass lifting the heads. DR's just take a little more finesse. Transbrake helps IMO to unload the supsension and shock the tire. Was he running a transbrake on the 1.49 short?
