I have a TH 350 with a stock type torque converter that will only stall to about 1500rpm.

Want something cheap that could put me in the 2200-2500 rpm range.

I used a Summit generic $99 special in my Th400 a couple of years ago. it would footbrake ot over 2500 behind my 427 and worked well for a mild street car. Held up fine to 2 years of abuse behind the BBC in a heavy '69 Chevelle.

The kicker is, it would outperform a $380 custom BTE converter in 60' and MPH at the strip. And was more pleasant to drive.
