Hey guys. Just had a question on brakes. What would be the best all aroundrear brake setup? I know the S-10 cylinders will fit, but how do I find them? Any numbers I can cross reference? Also how are the soft rear shoes in the durability/longevity department? I think this should allow a few pound launch at the track while retaining drivability. Also, my alum. rear drums are pretty much toast. What about iron replacements?

I drive my car daily.

TIA

I got 50K out of the stockers and about 50K out of Carquest brand replacement rear pads.

Doubt you will suffer mileage loss with soft organic pads and the larger cylinders.

Probably 30K or so.

They last a lot longer than the fronts.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I just did the fronts not long ago. The previous owner padslapped the car and didnt resurface the rotors when he put new pads on. By the time the brakes went bad, there was so much fade the car barely stopped. I think I'll go that route with the rears here soon. Thanks.
