Best deal on 4.1 forged pistons?

I have searched and searched and have read where some have paid $450 and some have paid $650. Thats a pretty big difference.
I have also heard of some guys lucking up and buying some off of a boardmember. If someone has some (.030 over) let me know please.


Hypers would be cheaper for sure but Im thinking not only would the forged hold up better in the long run they are also lighter. This is a project that will take a bit of time so just want to make the right decisions. The better prices I can get on stuff the quicker I can make it happen.

If you bore it .035 over, it's a 4" bore and your pistons are now a common Chevy bore hence the lower price. My JEs were $500 but that included tool steel pins.
