Okay guys pictures would be nice if you can post them. I just cannot swing 2k for race-deck even though I would love to do the checkered flag flooring, it is just not in the Budget. :(

I have been looking at the 2 part epoxy from Home-Depot. Just figured I would check with you guys, I am finishing the Sheetrock in the garage, next is the floor. I know prep is a large part with this epoxy, is this the way to go and what is best. THX

I used a 2 part from sherwin williams & I LOVE it. I did about 3000 sq' cost me about $400-$500 I cant remember, that was about 4 years ago. I have left brake fluid on the floor over night & it did'nt even hurt it, the only thing I have found to hurt it is welding splatter & it will burn any thing! 100% satisfied

What color, do you have pictures.

I'm in the planning stages of my new garage and thinking of using red colored concrete. Any pros/cons of colored concrete versus painted?

I have a cousin that has been in the concrete buis. for about 20 years he says if you do died concrete it will stain just like regular concrete. then there is a skim coat they can put over a slab but it's extremly expensive.

Do a search.. lots of info here. I actually bought the home depot 2 part and after reading negative feedback on a couple threads I've decided not to use it..

I'm in Northeast PA and looked into colored concrete but none of the cement companies were willing to add a color.. too much effort required. I'm still not sure what I'm going to end up doing now.

That looks pretty cool to me! Much cheaper than some of the other solutions out there.

My only concern is if they're breathable or not... concrete floor might have moisture coming up from the ground in the house I'm buying, so I'd hate to have mold growing under the floor covering! ;)
