My SMC dual spray set up will be in next week. I was wondering what nozzles peform the best with the dual set up? I have red about fine spray nozzle that work well. Also where is the best location for the dual nozzle install? I would like to get it right the first time.

Anyone have any tuning tips for the dual set up? My combo is as follows:

TE-44 18 psi. on 93 octane
Ported irons with big valves
T&D 1.55's
Comp 212/212
.030 over hyp. with file fit rings
009's
RJC PP
Stock big neck I/C
3" DP with Delta gate
340 and hot wire
Jim Testa 19* chip

I have 2,000 miles on the above new motor and it runs very strog! Can't wait to install the alky.!

I would set the kit up with the SMC nozzles in a spare uppipe especially if you have a special chrome one or something. Until you get it dialed in and all. Skip the JB weld for now if you intend to experiment with nozzles and setups.

There is no magic tune for alky. You will be a guru in no time.

Good general rules to follow however. :)

There are SMC diagrams in the kit where to put the nozzles I believe it's opposite each other in the pipe. They can also be located in the intercooler neck outlet.

With your cam and heads you might just want the SMC nozzles in there. I'd start with them.

Just my .02 for now.

I have several uppipes around. So install the nozzles per the instructions at this time? I was looking for a close set up from the start. How do you think this set up will work with my combo?

Thanks,
CT

I didn't respond because I have no experience with the dual set-up. I can tell you that Mrurl has a pretty strong motor, and he is digesting the 90% (?) isoprophol alchy through the dual set-up. I'd bet you will do well with what you have there. ;)

Ooops, Correction! Mr URL is (was) running 100% denatured. He got into the 11's with his combination a year ago.
