Best performance from an 85 tranny?

Mine shifts pretty good from first to second. The rest of the shifts are o.k. too..except 4th which I have to let off the throttle to engage. I was thinking of changing out the fluid to type F and adding a bigger servo. I already have one of Bruce's shift kits installed. Anything else to help firm up all shifts?

Do you think changing the valve body to a BR valve body would help any? I also need to fix the 4th gear engagement. I have to let off for it to shift into O/D.
