Looking to pick your brain on which vendor has the best pricing on the following Powermaster brake parts: new accumulator ball, new brake pressure switch, and complete reman unit? Prices and reference part number would be well appreciated! Also, how about the complete reman units through Advance and AutoZone? I have heard that one of them has the incorrect slanted PM unit with the slanted resorvoir for the wagons at a good price. Was told that the resorvoir is easy to change over. Anyone??

Thanks Matt for the info here as well as the heads up on my Inbox being full. I've cleaned the inbox out now. What does the LLT stand for on the AutoZone ad? Is that the core charge? Do you have this unit? Thanks!

Evans,
LLt stands for limited lifetime warranty. you will get a switch, accumulator, painted(maybe remaned,I doubt it, though)pm motor, and the slanted reservior that can be changed. I'd keep the core jsut b/c its only 36 dollars. Good luck

i'm getting the dreaded brake light flash every time i hit the brakes. should i just replace the acc ball or get a whole brake unit? any place else besides autozone sell them?

I'd suggest trying replacement of the acc ball first. Most times that cures the problem although not with mine! AutoZone does have the best price on a reman PM unit. Much cheaper than Advance. I'm planning on ordering up the one for the wagon (52-9700) and changing over the resovoir. $170.00 vs $350.00 for the one listed for a LC2 Regal!! It su8re has gone up in price. Think AZ has caught on to us.

I looked into autozone for the wagon PM. None of them had it. I called AZ.com and spoke to their customer service. They are out of stock and waiting on the supplier (cardone). I called oreilly auto and tried to get them to price match. They had it for $360+. They said they could not price match as their cost is over the $171.97. I wonder if/when AZ gets them back in stock they will still be that price. They would not even let me order one and wait til they came in. I went vacuum and can hold about 12 lbs on the foot brake in my driveway. I will do some track testing first week in March. No dowsides to normal driving/braking so far.

Zac
