I'm looking for exhaust recommendations. Upgrading my '85 and have a 3" DP about to be installed and currently I'm looking at the options for rest of the exhaust. Looking for the best sounding best flowing system I can get my hands on. If it's not the most expensive option better yet. I like a nice low rumble and I love to hear the turbo. Right now I have a nice new stock replacement and it's too damn quiet.
3" SS from TR Customs. Think it's the same as GN1.

I agree with those who are talking about the GN1 Performance 3" dual SS system.
I've used a bunch of different systems over the years and I love the sound of this system.
I'm a firm believer in the straight test pipe, vs the dump pipe. IMO, the dump pipes allow too much exhaust fumes into the cabin, once the block off plate and gasket start to leak.
Jason at RJC Racing's single shots are also very nice.
Just my O2's worth.

Best exhaust sound IMO for a V6 that's somewhat hotrod era is NO mufflers. Also less weight, $ and no back pressure. Then it makes the pipes shorter and it's tone goes up a tad so it's pretty aggressive.

The short pipes idea with tips turned down under rear floor has a real low and boomy, reverberant sound which is a totally different tone but some dig it too since it's the most aggressive. These days that's probably a ticket writing machine.

My only gripe with the GN1 system is the pipes are too close together and the driveshaft can’t droop all the way without hitting the pipes (car on a lift). Maybe just my car though….
Anyways it’s fixable. Just gotta limit the maximum droop.
Must just be your car I have the system with a 3 1/2 inch aluminum driveshaft no problems at all.
