What would be the best streetable combo using the stock converter for power and fuel economy?
 
What would be the best streetable combo using the stock converter for power and fuel economy?

8.7-9.0:1 (9.3-9.5:1 if you use higher than 100 octane and aluminum heads), 200-200, iron heads (or GN1 aluminum if you want to spend extra and make more power at less boost), 3255 BB, razor alky, Turbo Tweak, wideband tuning device. It could run high tens and get nearly 30 mpg if you have a pu$$y foot.
 
Im figuring basically just bolt on mods to the stock longblock- the car only has 35k miles. thanks for all the input. may consider bb and journal bearing turbos if the results are worth it.

If you want max power on a stock converter it will have to be BB. Or use a little N2O.
