The 38# Red Stripe Lucas injectors can safely support up to 456 fwhp when pushed. This would take you 374 rwhp if you figure 18% drive train loss. Now 374 to the wheels should put you into the 11.80 - 11.70s at 110 - 112 with traction and proper tune at 3550# race weight. There are those who have have gone a lot faster with 38# Red Stripe Lucas injectors, but they have maxed them out 100% on the duty cycle. I myself have taken the Lucas 009 42.5#ers into the low 11's but they were maxed out at 100% duty cycle. This was before 50#ers or even 65# Mototrons even existed. The Red stripe injectors tend to be rich down low and tend to lean out the closer you get to 100% duty cycle.
And to comment on the timing he ran, IMO, that's insane timing even with alky. I know there's probably more people out there who are trying it, but honestly, it is a grenade with the pin pulled.
