Best way to clean Fuel Injectors?

What is the best way to clean fuel injectors? I'm looking for suggestions for either in or out of the car. Thanks.

To clean the injectors in the car add 1/2 gal of xylene to a full tank twice a year.

I sent my injectors out to Caspers for cleaning. Very pleased with the results. Yes, they can be cleaned while still in the car, but you won't get them balanced that way.

Yes, send em to Chuck...just make sure there arent any blue pellets in them when you get em back. Senility has caused him to forget where he put those pills

Don't let them BS you about the blue pills! I NEVER take them prior to working on fuel injectors! I did once, and couldn't get close enuf to the work bench to run the system!!!

Actually, I take them only at night! A 1/4th pill is plenty! It keeps me from rolling out of the bed!!
