best way to drain trans fluid ( as much as possible )

i'm changing out my govenor and when i drained the fluid it was a little dark i'd like to get as much fluid out of the trans as possible without pulling the trans and converter ,

BTW: TRANS ONLY HAS ABOUT 150 MILES ON IT


1) should i buy a case of fluid and fill trans , drain , and repeat until fluid looks clean .


or is there another way ?

Dropping the pan I believe would do the trick.

I think you can get another quart or two out if you want to drop the valve body.

Even more if you remove and empty the torque converter but that means unbolting the transmission.

How dark is Dark?? Any line pressure readings? Could be slipping.

You could undo the trans line at the radiator (cooler), run the engine any pump fluid out while adding more in through the fill tube.
