looks a little pricey to me for what you get. look and ask around for a store that sells polishing stuff, i know ace sells some stuff, but the ace where i live isnt' your typical ace either... maybe some auto paint store might have something... anyways get a polishing wheel and a bar of brown rouge. the wheel can be hooked up to a motor, angle polisher thing, die grinder, drill, anything that spins. I got a 3" buffer wheel at a swap meet for something like $6, and the bars for $2.50 a piece. if you start out with a good clean piece of metal like diamon plate then you'll be amazed how fast and easy it is to get a very good looking shine on it. all the polishing nightmares you hear are from sanding down a rough piece of metal and then trying to make it look perfect, but that shouldn't be your case.

good luck!

I have tried the Mothers polish and buffer routine in the past, It worked really well on the parts that were in decent shape, but I really diddn't have much luck on parts with more wear on them like the truck tail board and steps. I'm talking large amounts af diamond plate here. (Fire dept. Ladder Truck and Engine) So some extra cost is worth it if it saves some time an effort. I will check out your leads and see what they have to offer.

I use and love never dull. Its the cotton wadding that you tear off and polish aluminum and stinless with. I've had good luck with it and its handy to use..

if its tarnished and really dirty, you gotta buff it.....i use brasso and a finishing sander:)

neverdull is great

Neverdull is great stuff. I use it on mostly the chrome, works great for getting around all the little spots on the pump panel and such. Great on the clean aluminum too. I doesen;'t seem to work so well on stuff that has been used and abused. I will give the flitz a try too. I have seen that locally wor a few bucks. I'll let you all know in a week or two how it works out.

Neverdul is amazing on things like aluminum sill plates and like items. The problem with it is it's awkward to use on large things like diamond plate....
