OPEN topend on an F1 engine while on a dyno. You can ACUTALLY see the fuel and the injectors spraying it into the clyender walls of each piston, while simulating a run down a track with DOWN SHIFTS.

looks like a second set of injectors above the throttle blades, a few shots, they are'nt spraying until it really starts to whine(above 10,000 rpm)if you look carefully it seems to have 2 sets of throttle blades also(or i'm just seeing things)

I think those are the only injectors, they put them as far away from the combustion chamber as possible to get better fuel atomizing(sp?).
