Im getting my CPT-70 BB, stock ported heads and intake next week.......just out of curiosity, i was wondering which will net you better ET, mph by...... Running 20 psi and a 50 shot.......or 25 psi? Does anyone have any before and after timeslips with nitrous? Thanks for any help.

I think you would be better off with the 25lbs of boost and if you interested in nitrous use it off the line and have it shut off at 20lbs of boost. It will end any turbo lag and will help cool off the intake. If it is either/or situation I would say the 50hp shot would be better if you not going to pick up 50hp with the extra 4lbs of boost ( you will pick up a pound of boost with the 50 shot of nitrous) and the more advance timing that you would have because you will have to retard the timing with the nitrous.

NOS

YES, yes indeed....listen to CHUCK. it will help GREATLY off the line and have a switch to turn it off and back it up with a safety switch or a BOV...that might be a little extreme here but they help. HTH....and let us know how it works out.

WELL YOU CAN TRY THIS RUN 20+ POUNDS OF BOOST AND SPRAY IT DOWN THE TRACK UNTIL THE CAR SHUTS ITS SELF OFF AND DON'T WORRY IT WILL TURN BACK ON WHEN IT WANTS TO..RIGHT CHUCK..(INSIDE JOKE):D

Its the Bs1 option code again. :o Some of us have all the luck. My just blows headgaskets.

VERY RARE

I DID FORGET THE OPTION CODE FOR THAT??? THATS LOCATED UNDER THE TRUNK LID CORRECT... MAN THATS THE AWSOME ENGINEERING FROM BUICK RIGHT ....50 KNOCKS NO PROBLEM;) TAKES A LICKING AND KEEPS ON KICKEN...BUTT

I find it most effective to run both. some people like to play the scared game however.
