Does, anyone have success with the 235 drg radial what tire pressures and any other suspension mods if any are you using. Thanks

im sure with a well prepped racetrack, the 235's would provide good traction.

why not slicks?? or nittos?? the nittos last alot longer, and the slicks would make excellent traction for the street and the track-

I use the 235 DR on one of my Buick, I say they're good for about a 375-400hp car max. If you're over that go right away with the 275.

I considered the 235s for my relatively low-power car. The thing that turned me off wasn't the width so much as the tread depth, something like 6/32s new???
I haven't used them, but if you want something for the stock rim and don't wanna go with the 275s (I didn't dare try them either) I would suggest maybe trying some of the M&H Racemasters.

They have some 265-50-15s that would fit with less "stretching" than the BFG 275s. They're the tires I'm gonna try next, once I burn off these Mickey Thompsons. The tires I have now fit well, but they're biased ply, so the ride is pretty crappy. And I haven't figured out how to launch them yet, a LOT of "warming up" maybe. Good luck.

I had them on my low milage T. It had 9200 miles on it at the time. Those tires sucked! Had to do John Force burnouts and even then they still smoked going into second. Best run was 12.7@106.5mph with a 1.97 sixty foot. Put the 275s on and ran a 12.3. They wear out really fast. For the street the Nitto's rock!

1.97 60' with drag radials  holy cow!! that sucks!! ;)

ive had good luck with BFG RADIAL TIRES, your local costco can order you BFG tires. my dad bought his 245/60/15 BFG tires there for 80.00 each, and that included mount, balance, and road hazard-
look in the summit catalog, the tires that i use are listed on the latest summit catalog NOVEMBER/DECEMBER on page 271

245's are 72.95
255's are 74.95

realize that these tires are going to last ALOT LONGER than any nitto and/or BFG DRAG RADIAL-

my dads best 60 is 1.93 on the 245's
my best is 1.90 on 255's

ive got over 15,000 miles and way to many passes down the track with em, plus street racing, plus nice smokey burnouts for friends :D after 3 years, they are just about the same tread depth of NEW BFG DRAG RADIALS!!

BFG's

Gotta agree with Quick6'n'-K.C., BFG tires are the only reason why I would never go any bigger than a 15" rim. They are good, look nice, and are really cheap.
