I know this has been covered before but I have to ask.

I plan on putting on some Weld wheels or CenterLines on my GN.
The car is set up to run 11's on slicks. With street radial tires and over 26 pounds of boost - it kills the tires at 50 MPH.
I want a decent ride. I don't care if it does not corner well either.
I do not want little pizza cutter 4" wheels in front either.
I was thinking about a 6" or 7" in front and 8" or larger in the rear.

What drag radial would you guys/girls recommend? Rim sizes, offsets etc.......Send me a few pictures or a website link to view.
So is it Nittos, BFG drag radials, ET Streets? I saw that Mickey Thomson is coming out with some drag radials that some cars have gone in the 8's with them.

I was also thinking about putting some 17" Boyd's or Billet Specialties on. But I would not get much traction with such a small side wall. Am I wrong on this?

I would appreciate any thoughts from the wisdom of the TB.com community. THANKS!!!!!!!!!
:)

I have ran 1.64 ,11.73@115 on worn out BFG 275-60-15 BFG drag radials. Have them mounted on 15X 8 drag lites with a 3 1/2 backspacing.

Im running 215x65x15 s on front w/15 x 6 rims 3-3.5 bs- the fit is excellant and stock height with great handling. The rears are 275x60x15 nitto drag radials on 15 x 9 s w/4.5 bs custom set up but you could also use a 15 x 8 rim with a 4 bs for an idea spacing, these are on weld pro star xp s which doesnt hit the fenders or the frame and tucks inside the wheel well nicely. HTH- i also have a set of centerlines 17 s which i use the 8 rear rim with a 4 bs on 255x50x17 nitto 450 tires- fits great! The weld rears are 15 x 9 with a 5.5" bs with a 1" custom billet bolt on spacer to make the wheel a 4.5" actual bs. Welds only come in full inch increments on the half inch when it comes to bs.

What is the differance between the Weld Pro Stars XP 196 series and the Weld Pro Stars 96 series?
Thanks again for the help!!

The weld xp s are solid billet aluminum center hubs- (2.25" solid aluminum centers )-very strong, wont get warped like the hollow double layer regular welds- a very beautiful rim.
