2 months ago, my GN was running again after sitting for 2 years. I quickly noticed that no matter what I did, I was always around the 22 PSI mark. Last night, I took the turbo off to add the header flange gasket and noticed that the puck in the BGC elbow is COMPLETELY seized. It's a wonder that the turbo actually stopped at 22 PSI and didn't keep going.
What are my options? I could probably get it drilled out, but where would I get new hardware? I don't want to switch to a TH elbow/downpipe, since I'm fine with the 3" I already have. Do other vendors have elbows that would match the BGC downpipe?

Jack, Check with TurboMike here as I got mine from him a little while back now. Not sure he is still doing them but worth a PM or e-mail.

Just spray some PB-Blaster on the pivot on the puck and wiggle the arm with a pair of vice grips or something and it will free itself. Condensation from the exhaust is causing it to seize. Even on cars that are driven frequently need this done to them every once in a while.

I had a new ss puck put in mine by keith mease-everything is nice now with no side to side play either.HTH

If you can't get it loose with some penetrating oil, heat that area where the shaft goes thru the elbow with a torch and then turn the shaft with some pliers and then lube it. It should work OK after that.
