Big 17's?

This question seems to get thrown around a lot, but this one has a couple of twists.

Any comments on the biggest 17" tire/rim combo that will fit on TR. I am really far away from my car right now, but I took a bunch of measurements and it seems ridiculous.

The whole suspension has been re-done and is really stiff, and I'm not looking at taller tires, but actually shorter and wider. I have heard of this setup on a bunch of Montes on the net, but never mentioned on a Buick.

Front: 275/40ZR17 on 17x9.5 w/ 4.75 BS (inner fenders are getting modifed)
Rear: 315/35ZR17 on 17x11 w/ 4.75 BS

This is what I came up with, but I think the BS is wrong

I want the GNX fender flares, does anyone know how far they extend past the stock fenders?

I don't know about the fronts, i run 17x8s at 4" BS on mine with 245/45s and in the rear 17x9.5s with nitto 315/35s. The rear will require a frame notch to take a 17x11. The biggest ive seen personally fit are my friends 17x10s completely unmodified. Even with the flares your stock fender lips will still be in the way as the GNX do not actually extend your fender they are just attached. Good luck
