Passing through the boneyard today, I spotted an unusual Buick V6. It stood out from all the others because it had an intake manifold with big runners sort of like the newer Vette's. The fuel rails are different so to accomidate the larger runners. I believe it to be from 1988 Olds 98 front wheel drive car. Looking at the bottom end it had a crank with rolled rod pins , similar to the GN cranks.
My question is , can this crank be used in our cars and was this a common engine on the larger front wheel drive cars? Would the intake fit the older cars?
