Howdy,

I'm brand new to the turbo Buick scene but I've tried to do my homework in getting set up for this project. I'm building a Twin Turbo 4.1L for any G-body right now while I get the driveline issues ironed out.
Biggest question on my mind is how much power will a stock block, crank, rods, and heads hold up to, how much does it go up when I put on 2 center billet maincaps and is it worth it to put all 4 on?
Next is how much boost will this combo be able to hold up to assuming 2 billet caps, top and bottom studs, Speed pro hypers (if you could tell me why I shouldn't use them), cometic head gaskets, twin intercoolers, and alkyspray?
Final question is, what do I need to have to convert say an 82 Regal Limited with stock 4.1L over to a turbo 4.1L? Right now I have a complete 87 GN intake, wiring harness, sensors, ECM, ignition system, crank pulley, accessory bracket, fuel pump block off plate, and throttle cable. I've got the computer and injector setup sorted out with Ramchargers and have been reading up on the rebuild items. I'm welding up my own headers, downpipe, and intake tract. Does anyone see anything else I should grab off of the 87 GN I'm getting parts off of?

Thanks for reading the Newbie's laundry list, and thanks in advance for all the help I know I will get.

other things to grab

Grab the rear end if you are building a g-body. The fuel tank might be nice to have as it is set up for an electric fuel pump. The radiator also might be nice as it has provisions for oil cooler. You want to be using a rolled fillet crank no matter what you are building. Goodluck.
