Just wanted to drop a line and thank Harry (of PTE) for helping me with my FAST ecm at the track yesterday. The guy was walking around helping EVERYONE with their cars, no charge, no strings, just being a fellow racer and a good guy. PTE didn't have their trailer and crew there this year, Harry just came out and helped out. You don't see too many guys just walking around offering advice and help on products they may not have even sold you and you especially don't see tuners as good as Harry doing anything like this. Thanks again Harry!

You guys are lucky, getting Harry's time is priceless!!!

I have to agree. Over the years I have seen Harry take time out to give people a hand. Even when he has been very busy with his own stuff.

Harry is a stand up guy imop. He has helped me many times over the years.

Hey Sam, i seen you qualify for tsm in the first round then i got called in to work, how much et did you pick up after harry helped you.

Hey sam what are you running with the new motor??? and i cant remember what did you run with mine????

sorry didnt mean to hijack the thread

Johnny

Well, Harry found out my air temp. sensor was not working, so I found the problem (broken wire) and fixed it, but only got one more pass then the track closed. It was still running waaay rich and is way out of tune. The plugs are fouled from running 9:1 A/F for 3 passes. It went 115 in the 1/4 last pass on about 16 psi, but bogged off the line with a 2.2 short time, no tire spin. My car is sloooow!

I got my azz whooped first round of TSM, like I didn't see that coming. I knew I was screwed when Dave England ran 9.89 on my first qualifying pass!

Johnny, my car went 11.61 at 120 mph with that motor at 27 psi. Had a 1.90 short time. Once I get this one tuned it should go 10's. First pass off the trailer it went 11.97 at 111, letting out at about 1000 ft. because the boost came up higher than I wanted. 1.9x short time. With the broken temp. sensor.

But I won a car show Sunday, which was cool. Its even going to be in a calendar next year.

11's on my setup is like 13's on yours. I went faster on the old motor, but I was leaning on it a lot harder.

I just feel so stupid for running it with the wire broken, like pissing in the wind. But once we get the fueling worked out it will run mid 11's on low boost (15-17 psi). Thats where I'll leave it most of the time, but I will have to crank it up and bust a few 10's just to justify the expenses!

Ahh, with taking it that easy on the engine, you shouldn't ever have to see the shiny parts inside again.

I'll have to swing by and take a look at the beast sometime, haven't seen the latest incarnation.

Thanks Guys

I had a great time at the track and attribute all the fun to the great bunch of fellow Buick enthusists I had the pleasure to spend time with. Thanks for your kind words. Helping people go fast or faster whether on the phone, at the track or anytime is really the best part of my job

See Ya again Soon
Harry
