What is the difference between the big transmission pan and the stock??? What is the price of the big transmission pan?? Thanks

Several quarts of fluid and the ability to get the filter lower so it doesn't get uncovered with hard acceleration. The ones I have seen lately have been in the $215 plus shipping range.

Here is a piece by Don Wang(alkyv6). A few paragraphs in it has info on the filter and deep pans.
I use a stock pan and 700r4 bottom feed filter. Mostly due to budgetary constraints. I would like a fabbed up pan and custom bottom feed filter but it just doesn't fit for now.

I use one of these but came powdercoated black with the fins aluminum. Might have come with a filter too, can't remember. Not one leak ever and drain plug is a blessing.

Interesting read. I wasn't aware you could use a 4L60 bottom feeder. I believe most use a 700r4 filter. Is there any advantage with using a 4L60 filter instead of a 7004r?
