bigger turbo[ best size]

Iam looking to go to a bigger turbo in the winter. I dont drive the car much just to the race way and the car show on the week ends. I am looking to see what i can run ,what is best for my set up, and how big i can go and hook to the sperco pretty easy. If i have to get bigger injectors and a stall it not a big deal.


One more my tran seems to be taking 1-2 sec to shift when i lock the stall , i have no shift kit do they all shift this slow . It's killing my time. I can see the car's that i race start to pull when it shift's so long then i pull them and it does it again. Is there some thing i should do to it or check, shift kit maybe.


I know iam a pain but i have to keep you guys writing.

TIME FOR A SHIFT KIT it dont take many slippy shifts to glaze the band and clutches then if will never shift right till its rebuilt.

i have one guy who is interested in the ta-49 thats on my car once i get my 51 back but if he dont want it i might could hook ya up with it.

it must be a good one its making plenty of horses.

It depends on what your goals are. I would say anything from a 49 to a 62. I admit my car was much more fun to drive with the 49 than with the 64 and in a short redlight to redlight race it was probably faster with the 49. As soon as the convertor goes in it should be a different story though. Plus I couldn't tell much difference in top end until I got above 20psi. Then it was a major difference.
 
Yea reds let me know about that ta49 , because iam trying to sell mine now and it seems no body wants it . If he does not want it let me know what you want trade , cash what ever makes you happy.



If i had that turbo i could aleast tell every one that the turbo has ran 11.60@ a crazy 120 some mph. You just let me know i can even come get it.:D
