Bird Poop

Got a bird poop stain. Tried Clay Magic and that didn't get out the spot.
What to do? - other than buy a pellet gun and eliminate the source.

There is a product called Tangle Foot that is a goo that you can put on places that a birds sit. They don't like the stickiness so they move away. If you can put over your car on the wires that will stop them.

If possible, you need to wet sand down past it and polish the area. Could appear to be gone and but will reappear if your not past it.

I agree with Red. Bird poop is very acidic and it will etch the paint very fast. I hope you didn't leave it on the car for long and you have enough clear on the car to get it off. Then try to stay away from where birds hang out. Like trees and over head wires.

They have lots of good info on detailing and spots.. They recommended using vinegar for spots as the first course of action.

Bought some Turtle Wax Bug & Tar Remover for the obvious reason.
Tried it on the poop stain and it did the job.
Don't know why, or if it was supposed to - but it worked.
