They have all been filed down razor sharp on the intake wheels an exhaust!!! What is the theory behind this??? I notice @ around 23 lbs it sounds like a lil girl screaming her head off.. Kinda spooky!!!

No

No the bearings are not bad!! Man this is a brand spanking new turbo.. My theory for the way it wounds is simply because the blades are razor sharp on the ends , therefore making the pitch of the whistle higher.. Was just wondering if anyone else had run into this??

My TE45 was like that also. The blades were sharp. Mine sounded like a jet all the time there was any type of boost.

Yes

Exactumundo!!! I guess lil girl screaming an "like a jet" is comparable.. Maybe not. But like a jet is more like it. I love the way the spool sounds like you are @ WOT more so then other turbos I have had.. Maybe your blades are not like this Brian!!!

Don't have the 45a any longer, but I remember the nice turbo whine it had when spooling. Never had any loud whine while in steady boost. My first thoughts when you said "girl screaming" were your bearings-----but sometimes it's hard to explain a sound. Good luck! Brian
