You may not know me personally. Maybe by my name. But this august i bought what i thought was GN turned out to be a just plain TR. I know it was my fault for not doing my homework and looking in tight spaces to see the clearly white paint. I was mad for a long time resenting the car for not being a GN. I posted my story about it on the forum and a lot of you guys made me feel better. But i was still been a little bummed for getting screwed over by some douche in Maryland. But as i was underneath the car today trying to fix a fuel line and noticing an occasional zip tie holding some rubber hoses and seeing the car could some TLC. I realized that if it wasn't for me buying this car and working on its flaws i wouldn't be learning. Its always been my dream to fix up a car especially a Turbo Buick (GN my dream car) and actually know what the hell I'm doing , I wasn't raised working on cars like a lot of my friends. I can change oil and tires the basics. But buying this car is making me learn. Don't get me wrong for 12k i got a pretty nice car with almost not rust and a bunch of upgrades. But my lack of skill, knowledge and wanting to know how to make my car run faster and better. Has made me ask a lot of questions on this forum and learn from some of the Vet's. So today I am a little more positive about my impulsive buy. And i look forward to learning and asking you a lot of stupid questions in the future. Hope to meet some of you at meets, thinking about going to Buick vs. Ford, Mustnag day at ATCO raceway in NJ.
