They could have been warped from ATR. Wouldn't be the first set of headers that were warped by the welding to assemble. Ask me how I know.

I know how you know.;)

Every set off new headers need to be trued. The manufacturers fail to do that one last step. Just for the record too, I have never blew a header gasket. :p

Got the passenger side header straightened within .002 and bolted up. The remflex gaskets call for 18-20 ft/lbs of torque. I did sneak up on that value from the inside out. The drivers side however is proving to to be a pain. It was warped and cracked in a couple spots. Still working on getting it welded up. I am having to gas weld it because my mig machine is dead. Needless to say, this is a crash course in it!! Getting there. Wish I had $1100 for some TA headers!!!

On my new build....
I used a cheap Chinee driver side header (no more cracking) and cross over and then used an OE passenger side header. It aint gonna win awards for being perty....but it freakin' works.;)

I checked to see if my headers were warped last night. I laid a straight edge across them and they are fine. No warping!!
