Good thing I have a Strange S60 in the crate just waiting. The stocker was howling like crazy and I just got this new combo together, so I had to start tuning while its nice out.
Car pulls hard at 17.5-18psi. Just too much for that poor stock rear. Anyway, the stock rears do break, but seems they will scream at you loud N clear before hand.
I'll get a pic when I pull it next week.

I have done rear ends twice, once with a strange S60 and once with a moser 12 bolt. Both are great, the S60 is bullet proof, and I do a ton of trans brake launches with it and no problems. My moser 12 bolt I just put 1000 street miles on and no issues. Nice to have a built rear and not have to worry.

Im fabbing up the sump for the tank right now. Its just going to clear my SLP muffler. I was thinking about welding a fitting on top ( have no idea where) for a return, but I am thinking about using the return in the sump if I cant. Its really tight up there.

I have a return fitting welded up top on the drives side corner.
Perfect. That seems to be the only good spot on this tank. Thanks.
Everything will be TIG welded and ready for next week when the new rear end goes in.

You and I have pretty much exactly the same car set up. weber stroker and built trans and S60 with 3.54, SD chip, I have a 6766 turbo though.

No way!! You have TTA weber ported heads too? I was just talking to Dave about this on the phone a couple days ago. I was searching for anyone with a similar combo and couldnt find anybody.

My Heads were ported by Tom at champion and they were 7515 heads with Harland sharp roller rockers. I had tom ship them to weber and weber assembled my whole long block. I also like you have the champion fuel rails shorties with fuel pressure regulator on the strut tower. weber stroker bottom end with rjc pan, my cam was 212/218. My intercooler was the jim dunn stock location ic though, not the dutt neck. Those are the only differences I think.

Here she is. Looks like pinion gear and (main cap?) let loose. Im guessing that cap let go first and took out the gear...Or the pinion gear was so loose that it jumped teeth causing the cap to break. IDK.

That's impressive! Good job!

If your impressed, I must have done a really good job because your the rear end guru!lol

More like the rear end idiot! After going what I went through I think you're new setup is better than mine. Only drawback is gear ratio, which can be made up with taller tires! What did you end up doing for rear brakes? I forgot if I already asked

Stock setup with .075 shim for the bolts.
Ya, I will be running a taller tire for sure. Found the lug nut size.

Where did you order the lug nuts from? The ones I'm using Auto Zone, and O'Reillys' had them in stock. The painted finish on them is pretty weak though. Every time I take them off I have to touch them up with a Sharpie. They look just like the plastic factory caps though.

Just for reference... I do not have to shim the calipers. I looked at the brake system and looks like a floater system. My pins that hold both pieces together were seized from rust and after greasing them, the calipers are perfect without shims.
Thanks to Dave, I now am the proud owner of a mighty vac for bleeding brakes! My wife IS replaceable! lol.

Took it out yesterday and the rear is quiet except for ratcheting around corners. Its really not that bad. If I had a Show car and pulled up with mega pride, it would be a little embarrassing, but it seems that some people over exaggerate things.

Now I have a whole other check list of things to do before the 1320
