I thought the blinking dot means it's in open loop and when it stops blinking it's in closed loop. Or is it the other way around.

Good enough.........

Is there a problem with ECM or the Scanmaster? is there a reset of some sort or what? Thanks. Drew

I see you're running a Thrasher chip. Therefore, the blinking dot will always be there when at idle, or anytime very close to idle (very slow speed also).
The Thrasher has open loop idle which is why you're seeing it in the above conditions.

You will also see this at any driving conditions until the engine gets up to operating temps or the chip's closed loop temp (usually 125-145 depending on the chip).

Let me clarify......................my bad

There is nothing BUT a blinking dot in the middle while running. It goes thru it's usual diagnostic (I'm guessing) with the lines thru the middle then to the blinking dot. Ideas????? Drew:(

Double check the connection again for the signal wire. Sounds like it's not making it or there is some kind of internal failure..?
