What is the factory engine block color on a GN is it semi gloss black or high gloss??

i don't think they painted them originally. mine just looks like a grey casting color

I would say a semi-gloss black, but with the way these things leak you won't be able to tell a difference for long.

They came from the factory painted black. whether it was glossy or matte, hard to say.

semi-gloss.............and there is a difference between semi-gloss and semi-flat contrary to what others may say.

Use a LOW GLOSS engine paint, sould be labeled as such. Hi gloss looks cheesy.
