Block Oversize Question

I have the heads off my block and the pistons are .40 over.What is the safe oversize with these 109 blocks 20# plus boost Should I worry or get a new block?

I always heard that .030 was the safe Maximum on these blocks.

Guys are running .040" over but I wouldn't feel comfortable going over .030" over.

You can run .050 to .060 over pistons, but it will make the car run hotter. Not recommened for 11 sec car or faster.

I ran a couple of .040" motors with no problems. You should be fine in the mid to upper 10's with that bore.
