Blocks..dumb question

Money money money is the issue... my question is what is the difference between the turbo 3.8 and the NA 3.8 and can the block (just the cast block, not heads, not cams, just the block) be interchanged? any advice (or links to people who sell salvaged or crate lc2's) would be appreciated ..thanks
 
No difference in the blocks other than the turbo oil drainback hole is drilled and tapped on the 86/7 109 block casting(last 3 digits in block casting is 109)...The boss is there on NA configuration, just not drilled and tapped...

Go to www.gnttype.org and read all about it...The heads are the same heads as well, with different valve springs, otherwise no difference between turbo and NA...last 4 digits in head casting is 8445...different cam and different crank...
