The bottom of my dash is out now, due to the install of an alky kit.
So thought I would ask about this now.
My heater/AC blower fan sounds like a freight train, but there's not much air coming out of the vents.
What should I check?
Thanks
Paul

Bearings are probably shot on the blower motor. That is what usually gives that rumbling sound.

Thanks for the reply, but think the blower motor is okay.
It doesn't rumble.
Think the air just isn't going where it should.
Any gaskets or flappers under there that I should check?
Don't want to button everything up and then find out I should have fixed/replaced something and then have to take stuff out again.
Thanks
Paul

Well, mine may be a bit different than yours because I have the auto-climate control and there are quite a few vacuum motors involved. As long as you have it apart - check all of the vacuum hoses and servos that you see. Make sure everything works freely and nothing is hanging up. Make sure the damper doors close and seal. Lube the cables, but that's about all I can think of.
