So after doing my cam, heads, intake etc i ve had some what of an oil leak. I degreased the motor and took the car out and it looks as if its coming out of the front seal and looks like the pulley is throwing oil around the lower part of the motor. The seal and cover were replaced. What would cause this? I ve been told maybe the PCV valve is the wrong one(purchased from autozone). I have one coming from gbody. Any help Is appreciated.

Do you have a GM cover with the rear loaded seal, or a chinese cover with a seal that installs from the front?

Is it possible that you're missing a bolt as indicated on photo, or all bolts not torque correctly?
Just trying to think of some ideas for you

Is the metal seal driven in nice and flat and did you make sure the spring is still around the seals lip?

I'm glad you found it:D
When I first did my timing chain replacement I put all bolts in one box for each section I remove such as timing cover.
After replacing the timing cover I look inside the box and I had an extra bolt. That bolt drove me crazy since it's location was set back or hidden on the timing cover as shown on photo.

Thanks again. You don't know how crazy that things made me
