Blown head gasket?

Going to do a leak down test this week but heres the symptoms.

smoke/ blow by out breather out of valve cover breather.

No water in oil. Exhaust doesnt drip that I can tell. No loss of coolant. Idles and runs good. No smoke out of exhaust.

The previous owner removed the pcv system I plan on hooking that back up.

I dont like seeing smoke coming out my valve cover hoping its not the rings.....

This may be a dumb question.
Do you have a stock style breather?

I had smoke coming from the breather area when I first bought my car 3-4 years ago. And the person before me had the wrong kinda of breather with no extension. Switched it to this one pictured and never had a problem. (I think it was oil dripping out of the old breather creating the smoke on mine).

This is an aftermarket one. The stock one is just made out of different material but has roughly the same rise and angle.

The driver side one appears to be stock.

Do you have a scanmaster?
Which breather is the smoke coming out of?

(Something seems a little funny on the passenger side breather area? (You can see oil leaking down onto the spark plug wire area)

power logger no scanmaster its the passenger side where the pcv was hooked up.

This thread should help you diagnose it but the only way to truely find out is to do a compression test or pull the heads off and look.
