blowning the spark out @21 psi

Has anyone tried a high output coil? and does it work?
I was able to run 26psi with stock ported heads
now I got a set of T/A performace stage 1 heads
my car is just as fast with 20psi as it was with the stock ported
heads @ 26psi

any thoughts on a coil and what plug wires?

I am using denso uridiums gapped at 25

Have you tried regular plain ol copper plugs? Those iridiums might not like to fire backwards on a waste spark system.

Once you eliminate that as a problem, verify that your coil packs and plug wires are good. When replacing plug wires, most new name brand plug wires are fine, just depends on your preference. I prefer Taylor Thundervolts, because they are quality, fit well and look good but they are pricey. Those, MSD's, Moroso's, Red's are all good.

I almost the same combo you are running but I am still using the mass air convertion LT 70qtrim T/A heads comps roller 214/214 566 lift
