I'm sorry man....just one of my stabs at humor....hope I didn't wound it.
I've been in those shoes...just have faith.
The true story on my screen name....
It's a play off my Scottish last name.
Now no one laugh....it's...Pidcock:frown:
Hey...who's giggling....friggin' grow up!
Way back, my great grand father told me that there was some controversy over the meaning of the name. Some think it means "Vicious Rooster" since the family crest has a fighting rooster on it with a sword and shield in each of it's claws. Others think it means, "Mean Chicken"
Well....since the Pidcock name can't actually be traced back to any of the major Scottish clans, we figure that way back in the mid to late 1600's before the first Pidcock made it to the colonies in 1697, one of us must have PO'd the queen or something, cuz our ancestors made a bee line across Scottland, to Ireland and before they all got wiped out and deleted from history, one of them named John got on a boat to the America's and settled in the area that became Pennsylvania. Since we obviously ran in fear from something that was killing us off....I've latched onto the Meanchicken title and stuck with it.
OK...now you can laugh....
