"Hello there and thanks for your interest.

I'm very glad that you like my car and I can only say that you have good taste about cars! The price I want to obtain for it is $11,000 (this price includes shippment and insurance charges). In order to eliminate any concerns I can accept a deposit of $2000. After you will make the deposit then just forward the transfer details to Square Trade so they can check the deposit, and only after receiving and inspecting the car you will send me the remaining balance.

The car is like new, completely working, low miles, 2002 BMW M3 model. It has always been garage kept. It is an US model with US specs and it is still registered there and you will have no problem registering there.

Shipping will be done via TNT Shipping Company from Los Angeles, California and it will take no more then 4 days for the car to arrive at the delivery location. The car is in the crate at the shipping company with all the papers inside and I just need your full name and shipping address so I can sign in for the shipping papers and I will send you the tracking number for the package so you can check the status of the car. I'm in the Military and TNT will manage me a low price for shipping and if you will pay the money transfer taxes wich will be at $400, I will pay for the shipping fees. In this way the car will be delivered to your home address.

This is a large purchase and I would like to use a third party for this transaction as I want a smooth and safe transaction. We will use Square Trade, I have completed a lot of successful deals using them. I have a Purchase Protection Account for US $20,000 and I assume you know what this means. If this is your first time using Square Trade here are their terms: if you will not receive the car exactly as advertised or you won't receive it in 15 days since you made the payment, Square Trade will refund you from my account.

If you agree with these terms, please reply with your full name and shipping address in your next email so I can register the transaction with Square Trade asap.

Regards,"

You know the old saying Jack, If the deal looks too good to be true, chances are it is. lol. Only $11,000 for a Denon m-3? Does this guy have any idea what you do for a living? LMAO. If you get it, I will give you $15k for it. Too funny.

Nice car though, isn't it. Might consider an even trade for my GN. :)

Reads like one of the typical ebay scams out there. You guys don't really believe this ad do you??

What's not to believe? I think 11K is a little pricey for that car considering I smoked one awhile back and I barely have that much in my GN. :D :D

...still no reply. I was hoping for some gay excuse by now from him.

Scam

Does this reply look familiar?

Not certain where car is now. Ad says Arizona. Bring it to Arizona or Los Angeles, either one. I will meet with you, inspect car and paperwork and pay you $11,000 cash for the car.

Hello,

I bought this car from US and it was ridded only within US. It is registered in US and I had all the services done there. The car was never crushed, drooped or raced. I took care of it like it was my own baby and now is in the same condition as it was when I bought it -- even better! The thing is that almost 5 months ago, I made that step - I got married !!! My wife is from Los Angeles, California and we decided to move there. My kid was born a week ago here in California and, as a fresh daddy I can't find the time to ride the car anymore.

Yes, I took the car here in California. I wanted to register the car here, but when I found out how much paper work I must do to register it here, only to ridded once a month or less ... simply I gave up and decided to sell it and buy a car here (a family wagon is a must now) . I even decided to support all the shipping charges in order to make a smooth deal for this car. I will use TNT Shipping Company air cargo for shipping, so you will be able to receive it in 4 working days.

The car is already crated with all the papers inside signed by me and ready to go at the shipping company. I want you to know that Square Trade verified all the transaction details and approved me to crate the car. The car will have an insurance and will be delivered at your door without you being charged one penny more. Along with the car, I will send you all the documents that I have fo/r the car -- the title (which is issued in US, is clear of any liens and I have it in hand). Due the fact that the car's title was issued in US you will have no problem in registering the car and you won't have to pay any fees. So, the car are still available for sale and if you are really interested to buying this baby please let me know if you can offer US $11,000 I will be very honored to make the deal with you.

The total price for the car will be $11,000 ($2000 deposit) and if you will pay for the money transfer fees to my location approx.$400 i will pay for the shipping taxes to your door.

So, if you are really interested on buying the car please REPLY WITH YOUR FULL NAME AND ADDRESS so i can initiate the transaction at Square Trade and they will manage all the finacial and shipping details.

Mail me soon and let me know if you are interested.

Kind Regards!

If you get this car for $11K, and it's legit, I'm going to shoot myself. Interested in a trade for a 2000 GMC 2500 4x4 Ext. Cab? ;)

I would not send the money. Insist that you want to pick it up. dont send that money, you may never see it again.

"I ridded it"

This dude is obviously a foreigner. Probably has no clue where Mesa is. Someone should hunt down and shoot this scam artist.

Tell him you are sending a $15,000 certified cashier's check that was refunded to your business. He is to take the $11,000 out and Western Union the balance to a certified shipper. :) :) :)

Of course you know the rest of the Nigerian scam!!!

When I emailed him I used an email account with no personal description and used a fictitious name. You never know, this idiot could be into identity theft too.

This is funny as s*$%t!! I can't believe that there are still people gullible enough to fall for these scams. ROTFLMAO!!!

You might know it!!

So the guy calls me and I drive all the way down on Country Club in Mesa to look at the car. What a scam. He pulled the wheels off the car in put the stock ones back on. Besides that, the mileage was 46,000 not 41,000. To top it all off, he now wanted $12,500 rather than the original $11,000. Told him to get screwed. I hate people that misrepresent.
